Boat trips on the lake

Peschiera, Verona

Navigazione Laghi

The boat and ferry services on Lake Garda include some lengthwise crossings which link Desenzano and Peschiera with Riva del Garda, two ferries that connect Maderno with Torri in the central area of the lake and Limone with Malcesine in the upper lake area, and a series of circular routes with ports of call in the upper lake area and the central-lower area.

Crossing the lake on a hydrofoil or catamaran lasts just over two hours, whereas it takes around four hours on the ferry. Overall, there are 27 ports of call on the lake, which are served by the scheduled services.

Crossing with the ferry between Maderno and Torri lasts half an hour and the daily crossings take from a minimum of 14 to a maximum of 40 minutes during the summer. The summer cruises during the firework displays and the now well-established tradition of the New Year’s Eve Cruise with dinner and dancing are both very popular.
